We pull our canoes together for a quick break. We swap snacks and stories—filling our bodies with fuel and our ears with laughter. I think about my progress across the lake—it felt good to work with someone else and achieve our goal. I relax and enjoy the sense of victory, the sparkling water, and the sun filled sky.
Big Canoes
Take out our Voyager canoes that hold 15 adults, and (if everyone works well together) a water skier can be pulled up . . . for a little bit . . . Okay, okay. Yes, it is hard work, but it’s a great teambuilding activity with an exciting result.
Regular canoes
Enjoy a peaceful time on the lake paddling and swimming. It’s a great way to relax and separate your group from the chaos of the world—even if it’s only for a few hours! Want more? Some groups choose to canoe out to the island to cook and camp for an overnight adventure.
