Anticipate Divine Appointments Think Metaphorically Unveil Truth
Looking for more than a typical summer camp? We’ve got you covered. From week-long programs on our 150-acre campus in Middle TN to backpacking expeditions in the Colorado Rockies, we promise an experience you won’t forget!
Our passion is seeing youth empowered to stand for Christ. We believe God seeks out encounters with us, and we want to actively anticipate that daily. To search for the truth He wants to reveal through our experiences. We just happen to use epic activities like our 1,000 ft long Zipinator or crawling through our cave.
So grab a friend, a Bible, and your sense of adventure, and let’s explore what it means to live intentionally for Christ!
Why New Frontiers?
For more than 25 years New Frontiers has utilized adventure programs to challenge students to live intentionally for God.
Our campus consists of 150 acres of adventurous goodness, ranging from a 1,000 ft double zip line to Archery Tag to a cave on our property and much more, all facilitated by highly trained and caring staff. While we love to explore nature and provide opportunities for campers to overcome fears, ultimately we view all of our activities and programming as tools to help guide our campers to an encounter with God.
At New Frontiers, we believe God brings each camper to us for a reason. Our number one goal is to help your camper discover that reason—we like to call it their “Divine Appointment.” We do this through metaphorical thinking and focused session themes.
When we say theme, we don’t mean “Space Exploration” or “Under the Sea,” with costumes and decorations. Instead, our theme is a topic and central scriptural passage woven into every aspect of our programming. Past summer themes include STAND, exploring the idea of taking a stand for Christ in all areas of our lives, and VOICE, asking the question “What is your message?” and exploring how the message of our life affects our world, our culture, and the Kingdom of God.
YES Camp at New Frontiers is much more than fun memories and a chance to make new friends. It is also a self-encounter in the presence of God.
